Resume
Appearances: I've attended as a Guest Speaker at the Arisia SF & Fantasy Convention January of 2000 thru 2005, on a wide range of Literature, Lifestyle, Media, Writing and Roleplaying Game related panels.
I was previously a member of the Amber Lamp Dance Troupe, a Middle-Eastern Dance group in Cabaret-style. (The Troupe has now disolved with the departure of the head of the troupe from the stage).
I've been performing at the Serpentine Nights Events as part of Johara's Middle Eastern Dance Snakedance Theater Company's student group. These events have been at the BCCA in Coolidge Corner (Brookline MA).
I was employed by a Boston Mass. based Real Estate Management Firm (Barkin Management) for ten years, but have been recently been layed off due to the outsourcing of their IT department, and am now looking for a new full time employer.
Resume:
Please email me dancingkiralee@gmail.com if you are looking for an Assistant Manager of Information Services or have a related position available and I will gladly provide a copy of my resume for your consideration.
Aspirations:
I'm looking for a new full time position, preferably as an Assistant Manager of Information Services or doing related work within the field in the general Boston Area.
I'm studying dance with Joharra for the past 5 years, and have taken Yoga classes with a local
independent Yoga studio in Cambridge (Karma Yoga) when financially feasible.
My first solo dance stage debut was June 14th 2004 at the
BCCA, the new community center in Brookline's Coolidge Corner (14 Green Street to be exact). The event WAS
a Hafli, a collection of belly dance performances followed by a dance party.
It went well and I'm planning for more performances in the future. We taped the three pieces I was in (two solo
and one group act) on videotape, but haven't managed to convert it from analog to digital as yet.
I want to write a novel, travel the world, and do lots of other interesting things before I die.
Adventures:
I first ran into tabletop roleplaying games in the early eighties and have never
looked back. I don't GM, but I have played in a wide number of different
game systems and genres.
About 9 years ago I started playtesting new systems, and helping to design them.
I have worked on several systems, including
Mystic Earth (first and second editions), Fudge WOW,
T'Phon, Perilous Earth, Shadow Bindings, and
Cosmic Synchronicity which I have edited and playtested.
I've also done playtesting on Ironclaw Supplements and Kaleidoscope.
I have been a contributor, with Joseph Teller, to the APA
Interregnum in our own zine titled 'The Swashbuckling
Mage and the Dancing Priestess' and in my own zine, later, The Dancing Priestess.
I also became the editor and sustained
Interregnum APA for two and half years (publication has since been suspended).
I've been a featured Panelist and Panel Moderator at 6 Arisia conventions to date,
and hope to continue attendence and involvement in other local fandom events.
I became the main coordinator for the Western Ave Irregulars
when by husband, Joe Teller decided he was being
overstressed by too many external events and wanted to take a break from as much as possible for a month or so
to get his stress levels back under control. He's doing better, and handling the web page stuff, but part of the
agreement was that if I took over I'd remain in charge until I felt I needed to hand over the torch to someone else, and
so I remain in charge, giving him some breathing room in regards to responsibilities.
Finding time to do everything I want to do in life seems to be my
major drawback these days. I can't even keep this WWW page up
to date, and have to rely on Joe to keep up on the reliability of
the information on it.
Inspirations:
Eventually I'm going to include a list of some of my favorite books
here, but I haven't discovered enough time to do this yet. Check back
in a few months.....maybe a few more.... maybe sometime in late 2004 or early 2005?
