Actually, I prefer people to call me Cindy or Sky Elf....

I am active in Highlander fandom and have created a separate page for those activities plus one dedicated to my recent writing, most of which is Highlander fan fiction. I also have serveral pages of photos from various conventions that I've been to, Highlander and otherwise.

Though I majored in computer science when I attended Wellesley College, I have not done much in the way of programming recently. However, I do put my minor in mathematics to use in the accounting office I work for. I also play various computer games, including Sid Meier's Alpha Centuri.
I've enjoyed science fiction and fantasy for as long as I can remember. This interest includes novels, movies, television and comic books. Besides Highlander, and its spin-off, the Raven, my favorite shows are Quantum Leap, Misfits of Science and Forever Knight. I also read books based on these series. My favorite Highlander novel is The Captive Soul by Josepha Sherman. My favorite Forever Knight novel is Intimations of Mortality by Susan Garrett.
Since getting on to the Internet, I have acquired a number of friends who have interests in common with me, that I communicate with electronically. I am always happy to find new people to discuss Highlander and other fantasy or science fiction with.
My interest in fantasy led me to try roleplaying. I have tried many different systems, as well as reading a number of others that I haven't played. I have also tried my hand at game design. While some of my work went into the Mystic Earth RPG, I have yet to complete a game of my own. I have also been involved in the Fantasy Realms RPG World booklets on a consultory level and wrote a short piece for T'Phon called A Visit from Minari. Currently our local group is playing Shadow Bindings, but we are begining to playtest Cosmic Sychronicity as well. Denise Montgomery, one of my Shadow Bindings characters, is available online if you'd like to look at her.
I'm also now starting to write more regularly for the APA that my roommate has become editor of, Interregnum. It's a Roleplaying, Science Fiction & Fantasy publication.
I have a younger sister, Andrea, or Andy for short. She had a fantasy novel titled "Flute Song Magic" published by Avon Flare. Andy attended Galluadet University and is active in the deaf community. She is the founder of I-DEAF, a scholarship program to enable deaf individuals from developing countries to get an education. Both Andy and I-DEAF have their own web pages. Here is a photo of Andy and me taken at our parents' house over the holidays.
