he following articles are selected from various issues of the
Interregnum amateur press association. Given the wide scope of material
that's printed in IR, there's no way to give even a representative sample in
this limited space. The majority of text for the issues isn't available in
ASCII format; it's mailed in as hardcopy. Beyond that, one thing that
Interregnum has been praised for is layout and design. We also have a very
large collection of art. None of this can be shown here, unfortunately.
Some of these articles are on the personal websites of the individual authors, and as per their requests the listings link there instead of to copies on our site. Often this is so that additional graphics and content can be included. These will open in a seperate Browser window.
Also absent are the comments sections of each zine, where the various contributors discuss, critique and share ideas that are drawn from the articles. This is an essential element of each issue as it gives the contributors a sense of community and feedback that is rarely found elsewhere in publishing or on internet roleplaying sites.
Publication in IR is not a barrier to professional
publication, any many articles and fiction appear in IR, get fine
tuned by the authors and later appear in professional publications.
